I mean, the guy was a genius! He had this amazing knack for piecing together seemingly unrelated clues, pulling the threads of a case together like some kind of intricate tapestry.

But the news of his dementia diagnosis is just… gut-wrenching. It's a stark reminder that even the most brilliant minds aren't immune to the ravages of time and disease. And it's heartbreaking to think of this amazing man, a literary icon, losing his grip on the very thing that made him so brilliant – his memory.
