I've been buying clothes online for over 15 years and still find it amazing how much easier it is sometimes. Check out reviews and return policies before buying though, just in case it doesn't fit.
• Explore smaller brands. Often, you'll find unique styles and better quality at smaller boutiques than you'd ever find at a chain store like Rivers. And supporting small businesses is great for local economies too!
• Check for sales and discounts. Stores often have sales, even if they are not explicitly advertised. The best sales I've ever found were unadvertised! Be on the lookout for them.

The closure of Rivers is a significant event in the retail world, a reminder of the ever-changing dynamics of the industry. While it's sad to see a familiar name disappear, it's also an opportunity to discover new brands and shopping experiences.
